Job Summary
This role will be an integral member of a team that manufactures and provides antibodies and reagents to a diverse set of research areas. This position will report to the supervisor and will ensure the highest quality of our finalized antibody products. In this position one will perform productions for custom orders following Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting of problematic errors, experiment continuous improvement methodologies for efficiency, and cross train on a variety of other supporting tasks.**Biochemist II will also be considered**
Essential Functions

- Follow SOPs, work instructions, and batch records for custom order productions.
- Clean biosafety cabinet (BSC) to carry out endotoxin test and conjugation in a sterile environment.
- Meet important deadlines and due dates related to production orders.
- Multitask to carry out productions efficiently.
- Conduct optimization of protein and antibody conjugation and purification methods under supervision.
- Use lab equipment such as balance, pipette, spectrophotometer, UV detector, agarose gel electrophoresis, and pH meter.
- Adhere to correct procedures, policies, and health/safety guidelines.
- Clean and maintain work areas, all lab equipment, and supplies.
- Additional responsibilities and projects may be assigned based on individual's capacity.

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Bio-Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, or Science
- 1 year of relevant experience with column chromatography, analytical assays, and detection methods
Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Previous antibody conjugation skills and experiences.
- Previous ERP/MRP knowledge to execute production orders.
- ISO 13485 knowledge.
- Ability to perform column chromatography and the ability to use a spectrophotometer, UV detector, and fraction collector.
- Experience with AKTA purification is a plus
The base salary range for this full-time position is $26.44-$30.41/Hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. ** Biochemist II will also be considered at Pay range $30.25-$35.00 .
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment.
