About the Role:

Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: NBIX) is offering the opportunity to gain product marketing experience in the world of biotechnology. This internship offers exposure to a broad range of marketing responsibilities and cross-functional partnerships within the commercial organization. The CAH Marketing team is a fun, fast-paced, and collaborative group who are working on the first drug product in Neurocrine's neuroendocrinology franchise.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Contribute to ongoing marketing activities such as brand strategy, tactical execution, and promotional materials for the CAH commercial business, including the disease state education campaign What the C@H?! and the crinecerfont brand

  • Support the marketing team in various tasks related to campaign management, digital and social media promotions, insights & analytics, asset development, and agency partnerships

  • Partner with the broader commercial organization including Commercial Analytics, Field Sales, Corporate Communications, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and more

  • Collaborate with a mentor team of cross-functional partners and the other interns in the class

  • Complete a special project and present recommendations to senior management upon completion

Requirements:
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree with an interest in biotechnology and/or marketing (preferred)

  • Introductory understanding of business and marketing concepts

  • Familiarity with biopharmaceutical technologies, physical and life sciences, product development, and regulatory approval processes is desirable

  • Ability to think critically and creatively, and be a team player

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Offer flexibility with a willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Bring to the Company a skill set complementary to its technology and development therapeutics

  • Interest in attending various program events, including social gatherings, career development workshops, and more

  • Ability to commit to a 10-week, full-time summer program
