The position will be to conduct research on organic solar cell mechanical and operational stability. Research activities will include both experimental and computational activities. Research will include, but not limited to, processing organic solar cell devices, mechanical testing organic solar cells, and mechanical testing various layers that make up the solar cell. Analysis of the thermal transitions of organic semiconductor materials. Design and implementation of effective encapsulation of organic solar cell devices. Long-term stability tests of organic solar cells. The position will also include reporting research results in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and mentoring students.

Other Work/Responsibilities
The post-doc will work in a team and will be responsible for being a productive collaborative team member and in some cases project lead. The post-doctoral scholar will be responsible for mentoring graduate students, writing peer-reviewed journal publications, contributing to research proposals, presenting research at international conferences.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields.
